DISCOUNT IS NOT BENEFICIAL FOR THE CUSTOMER

Although we have concluded that this discount is of no benefit to any consumer, one thing is certain these few days of the sale will crowd these franchises and outlets and that is the target of these companies or vendors. Since online shopping is also on the rise now, famous and big brands also aim to get consumers to sell products on their web and sell products from there as well.

We chanced upon a website and happened to like a pair of shoes at a reasonable price and we bought them, even though we didn’t really need them at the moment but why let the opportunity pass us by? That is, our benefit has been achieved, on the other hand, the company has also earned.

In this context, I got a chance to talk to some close friends who are employees of famous companies. According to him, companies are more or less successful in selling their products during the sale season.

For example, sometimes you like a shoe or a dress at a reasonable price but it doesn’t fit your size. Just that shoe or dress is someone else’s measure and someone else’s fortune.

Usually, the smallest or largest dent in the shoe joint is in the sealed area, which also looks new. Also, when people exchange gifts, these sealed products come in handy.

Several consumers visit these shops on the pretext of discount sales, but they do not leave empty-handed, but spend a few hundred rupees more than their prescribed spending limit and buy the products of their choice. Among them some consumers do not look into their pockets to spend on themselves and their loved ones, some have more money and some have credit card facilities.

On the other hand, some people have less purchasing power and buy discounted shoes and clothes even though the quality of these products is not good, but a brand is a brand and its logo or style reflects it. Who knows if they bought it on sale or at full price? So there was the talk of consumers.

Discount sale of some brands or companies is not artificial but a reality and they have gained a lot of fame in the last few years. There are also long queues to buy the products of these few companies in sales, even shopkeepers’ take advantage of these discount sales to buy in bulk and then pass on some profit to other customers in their stores. Also, some companies sell their old designs at lower prices in the name of clearance under their specific annual policy.

Now, whether these companies earn five hundred rupees or fifty rupees on any of their products, they always benefit. Yes, some brands resort to artificial advertising only because their competition or competing brands have also made a discount offer and they also participate in this season to make some name and money.

Recently I tried scouring seven or eight stores where the discount sale was going on, hoping to find a quality item like shoes, jeans, or a shirt from a good brand in a boot sale, but without success.

His time was wasted. Where there was a discount sale, the number of buyers was more than in other shops. Like all people, we had a desire in our hearts that today something good and cheap will be found and that too branded. He went to a clothing store after hearing about a fifty percent discount, only to find that the offer was only on pants and shirts at one table, which was crowded like a hive of bees. And when we got closer, we found that people were trying to find something suitable for their liking.

It was not that all people were successful in buying discounted clothes, but the majority of people were returning unsuccessfully because they could not find something they liked. In every shop we visited during this loot sale season, we saw people’s faces downcast and disappointed.

We could imagine that their hopes were also dashed like ours, who were forced to return unsuccessfully after spending their time and fare, apparently cheated by this discount sale.

The sale at a shoe store was limited to a certain table on which the shoes were facing us. Most of these shoes didn’t even look new. It looked like the shoes had been lying in a store for years, draped over them, and placed on a table. Even if these shoes had been polished, the condition would have been better.

Buy one pair of shoes at a store and get another pair absolutely free. But after looking at the price and quality of this one pair of shoes, I realized that it is better to buy a non-discounted shoe whose quality and design will be slightly better than the discounted shoes and maybe even cheaper.

My observation is that very few people take advantage of this type of sale and those who manage to take advantage are actually cheated. So the question arises, who really benefits from these futile discount sales? Some people believe that shoe and clothing companies mark up prices by thirty percent on the price tag and then put a thirty percent discount sale on their products to fool consumers.

.This perception of people is not only for famous brands but also for online shopping platforms. The majority of consumers consider these loot or discount sale schemes to be scams and scams. The real benefit is for those companies who spend every year on advertising for the sale and make a profit for the whole year in the name of discounts on certain sale days.
